Overview

For high school counselor Kinley McMillan, being born beautiful was more of a curse. Put on a pedestal as a child and expected to be a perfect show piece as a teen only led to being the target of an obsessed stalker. For over six years, he’s haunted her, so in a desperate attempt to escape him once and for all, Kinley finds herself in a small community where, for the first time in her life, she found her place and a man who might just love her for her.
It doesn’t take long for Sheriff Quinn York to see that there is something special about the spunky, loving woman who has dedicated her time to help the youth in town, even when it means putting herself at risk. But as he investigates too many incidents that somehow link back to her, he finds there is even more at play that he’d realized, and the only chance they’ll have of any future together is to confront the danger hunting her.
