Overview

Charmaine Farre is a recently successful artist, living alone in her lovely loft, painting to her heart’s content. She’s always known that she’s insane—it’s written in her blood, after all. But the horrifying creatures she hallucinates have never really bothered her. They always disappear as soon as she looks at them, anyway. Until they don’t, and Char begins to wonder if she’s lost her mind entirely. It isn’t long before Char hallucinates a flame-eyed, dark-haired man, who forces her to question everything she’s ever known—about herself, her family, and her future.
