Green-eyed, golden-haired Princess Allora of Scotland's Far isle has been brought up to hate all things Norman. But, to free her fierce, rabbler-rousing uncle from imprisonment by King William the Conqueror, she is compelled to marry Bred d' Anlou, a handsome, dynamic Norman knight.
