1929After the death of her parents, Sarah Ferris goes to live with her aunt and loses her heart when she steps off the bus and Ethan Lawson comes to her assistance. For nearly two months all they shared were casual greetings on the street, until he comes to her rescue again saving her from Oliver Armitstead, the wealthiest man in town, who has turned his unwanted attentions on her in an overly aggressive manner. From the moment Ethan Lawson looked into Sarah’s beautiful blue eyes she was all he could think of, but though he was used to directing men around all day he can’t seem to manage more than a simple greeting every time he see the woman until fate steps in to place him at the right place at the right time.
